Theengineerinthisrole willjoin the FatigueManagement group,whichspecializes in the management of metal fatigueinpower plantcomponentsandsystems.Theengineerwillsupport variousprojectswithin the group and perform tasks under the supervisionof senior-levelengineers.Tasksincludefatigueanalysis,stressanalyses,softwaredesign,developmentandtesting,andanalysis of powerplant operation. Theengineerwillparticipateinproject team meetings,bothinternallyand externally withclients.Some travel may be required.
Theworkenvironment isteambasedandvariesdepending on the requirements of eachproject. Eachprojectteam isled by an industryexpertandcomposed of engineers fromvariousengineeringdisciplines.Day-to-dayactivitieswill be a combination of independent tasksandcollaborationwithteam members.

RequiredSkills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’sdegreeinMechanical Engineering or similardiscipline
Programmingexperience in oneor more programminglanguages
Self-motivatedwith the ability to successfullyworkindependently and incollaborationwithteammembers
Ability to manage tasks for multipleprojectsand adjust to shiftingpriorities
DesiredSkills/Qualifications:
Knowledge of VisualBasicand C#
Softwaretestingexperience
Knowledge of ANSYS or anotherFiniteElement software
PassedFundamentalsof Engineering(FE)exam withplans to pursueProfessional Engineering(PE)certification,ifnotalreadycertified
The expected salary range for this role in Centennial, CO is $65,680 to $98,520 annually. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience.
